CoffeeTalk: PSA we can see everything in drive thru

Ok I feel as a barista in a drive thru store it is my duty to inform the masses that we can see into your car. I know – shocking! But people your car does not provide an invisible barrier preventing people from seeing inside- especially when said people are at a higher elevation than your car.

So mommy who is too busy on the phone that your kids get out of their booster seats, roll down the window and flip us off- we see that!

The dude who is always the passenger on Sunday mornings and lays the newspaper over your “area” and is wearing nothing else- gross please stop!!

The college kids who work hard at their part time jobs and go to school- a dirty car is okay but don’t clip your toe nails in your car!!! It’s nasty!

While we try very hard not to judge the above examples are only a few of the many that we feel need to be stopped. If you can’t get dressed completely, at least stay in your jammies. I understand that kids do things sometimes and moms can’t always stop them but uh you drove off with your kid on the floor of your car and never stopped. Just saying. Lastly, you should never take care of any personal hygiene issues in a car! It’s gross and nasty and well frankly we don’t want to handle your money after that. again just saying. Because the more you know..
