I myself have been struggling with my favorite thing- cooking.
So this week I decided to find some motivation. I haven’t posted a recipe in a while. I love to cook, eat and play in the kitchen. But we have been busy, sick, busy. So I not only haven’t had time but also drained I’ve been completely disinterested in cooking.
I tried to menu plan and was so uninspired I couldn’t get past 1 day. Total fail. And what’s worse is this coming weekend is the state wrestling tournament and we will be on vacation. I am so excited about vacation and yet so upset to miss state.
I decided to finally stop feeling sorry for myself and I am using my vacation and wrestling tournament as motivation. I hope to whip up 3 things for Vincent to enjoy this week as he is cutting weight. And there is nothing worse than coming home from vacation and the house is dirty. So I am making homemade energy bars, protein bars and granola bars for Vincent. And I am gonna make sure my home is pretty before we leave on Thursday morning. I can do this. Doing both of these would make me happy and I will be able to enjoy my vacation. So what motivates you?
