A Poem for Caleb

Caleb is my baby. I don’t know if we will have any more kids. He is such an amazing child. He was born via a scheduled c section at 39 weeks. It was fun, relaxed and so different from Aiden. This is my memory.

Laughter, smiles, music
You didn’t want to come out
Pushing, pulling, coaxing
You finally made it to this world
A kiss, tears, and laughter
you are mine.

Caleb had to be vacuumed out a bit. He did not want to come out. He is a bit shy at first but once he’s comfortable he is loud and crazy! He was born with Shakira playing in the operating room, with mommy joking with the anesthesiologist. I got to kiss and see him right away unlike with aiden. It was perfect!

About thecoffeeqween

I am a 30 something year old mom, wife, and lover of all things coffee and tea. I have two kick ass boys, a hubs who looks like Collin Ferrell, and a killer job as a store manager for Starbucks. Follow me as I juggle it all downing espresso, raising boys and learning to be happy with what I got!
