Another year another birthday.

So yesterday was my birthday. I am officially 32 years old. I am okay with that. I don’t feel old, I don’t care about the number. In fact I feel as though nothing has changed. It’s weird but I think at this point in my life birthdays are ok.

They don’t have to be these big celebrations like when I was a kid. Or week long events like in my twenties. I am so into my kids birthdays just going to dinner with my family is enough. I don’t need presents from everyone. I don’t need cards and flair. Just a good meal and some conversations is enough.

We went to Woolgrower’s which is a basque restaurant and one of my favorite. The family style food is perfect for gatherings and we have celebrated many happy occasions at the restaurant. And well I love love love the food. The soup, the salad, the brea and salsa… Oh and the garlic pork chops!!! Gawd how j love the garlic pork chops. I could eat that with the fries everyday! The pickled tongue, well that I could live without! Not much of a tongue fan but everything else is divine!

So another year down and praying for many many more to come!
